Yishu is from Tianjin, China. She is an undergraduate Chemistry major at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In Fall 2025, Yishu joined the McMahon Group and works with Dr. Brian Esselman and Kolton Mehalko on analyzing the rotational spectra of pyrrole to determine the molecule’s semi-experimental equilibrium structure. In her free time, she enjoys astronomy, listening to music, and reading fantasy novels.
